I love the picture of Andrew looking out the window of the train. We have one just like it from riding "The Polar Express" last December. He had a constant smile all day today and just enjoyed all the sights and sounds.

A Day Out with Thomas
We spent the weekend in Flagstaff and Williams -- a nice time to get away as a family. We rented a cabin at Ft. Tuthill (the military recreation area) just outside of Flagstaff. It was about 30 degrees cooler than in Phoenix. We took Andrew to Lowell Observatory and saw the telescopes and exhibits up there and played at the park, had a picnic lunch and walked around town. Andrew picked a bag full of pine cones to bring home..... not exactly sure what we will be doing with them yet. He loves being outside. Right now that basically means in the pool or at the splash park since it is so hot, so it was nice to just be able to run around, leave the windows open and enjoy the nice weather.
Today we drove to Williams, about 30 miles west of Flagstaff and went to the "Day out with Thomas". They have everything Thomas the Train including Thomas himself pulling coaches. We took a 30 minute ride on the train, got "tattoos" of James the train (Tory got one too), jumped in the bouncy house and just enjoyed the day. Andrew LOVES trains. He was so excited just to see so many trains and the station. Emily enjoyed watching Andrew more than anything.
