September round up

Well I have about 5 hours until October officially rolls in.... so I better finish up September's highlights.

Tory and Andrew took a boys weekend excursion up to Everett and Hood Canal, WA. They enjoyed fishing, riding in the boat, playing with the cousins and just hanging out. It was a girls weekend here with Emily, Maggie and I.

Andrew is getting so big! He has had a little blue race car bed since he was about 22 months. He finally decided the covers were not long enough to keep his toes warm. So, out went the little bed and we got him a new twin size loft bed that he really seems to be having fun with. He got to pick out new sheets (airplanes and rockets) and he decorated his little fort under the bed. It is an interesting mix of dinosaurs and Cars. But very cute and a fun place for him (and Emily at times) to play and hang out.

Emily is getting more interested in walking. She will walk holding a finger and today took a couple of steps. She is getting an entire mouth full of teeth all at once this week. She is not very happy about that. She has quite a few words and really mimics what you say to her.

Otherwise not too much new around here. We are enjoying the last few weeks of the pool season. My Dad and Elizabeth came out for a quick visit which the kids enjoyed. We are getting ready for Andrew's 4th birthday. All the usual stuff continues - preschool, swim lessons, playing with friends.
