Tory was home almost exactly 2 months -- apparently the Air Force considers that sufficient time together -- and now he is in Oklahoma for a month. He left on Sunday for a month-long investigation. Ah, the glamorous life of the Air Force family.
The kids and I are hanging out at home. No point dragging us all to OK to sit in a hotel room for a month. We only have 3 weeks before preschool starts up so we are enjoying some lazy days at home, swimming, and playing with friends.
Andrew is having a hard time with his daddy gone (at least I hope that is the reason since I don't think I could handle this being a permanent problem). He's having temper tantrums and screaming and crying to get his way. Its not fun. And he's normally so good and very well behaved so its hard to not laugh when he does it - its just so out of character. At a friend's party this weekend he lay down in front of the door and screamed that he didn't want to go home.
The fish/frog/snail have all survived their first two weeks with us. I even cleaned out the tank and partially changed the water successfully. I really like having the aquarium. The kids both love to sit and watch them. Emily calls it the "ishies".
Well, that is a sufficiently boring update.... hopefully more exciting things to report in the next few weeks.
