We spent the week between Christmas and New Years visiting Richmond, Virginia. We stayed with my mom, but since my sister and her family just bought the house next door to hers we saw everyone every day. My Dad and Elizabeth drove up from North Carolina and it was a good chance to catch up with everyone. Andrew was hoping for snow but that did not happen -- it got cold (into the 20s) and we did have 10 minutes of hail one day. Tory helped my brother-in-law do some house projects and we otherwise hung out around town, went to the park, and just visited and let the kids play. Emily and her cousin Ian are the same age and they found just about anything to fight over. Andrew convinced my sister to play lego with her endlessly. My mom got nine of us fed and seated basically every night. All in all a successful visit.

A great picture of the whole family at your mom's! Everyone looks so color coordinated--did you plan it that way??
We were happy to see the whole family as this is the first time we have seen Christopher.
Love Aunt margaret
