We spent Labor Day weekend at a local resort with a water park. The kids had such a fun time floating on the lazy river and riding the tubes in the wave pool. It was such a nice break and just a change of pace for all of us. We were only thirty minutes from home, so we didn't even have to fight post-holiday traffic to get back. The summer deals in Arizona at area hotels have been so great this year with prices less than half of other summers we have lived here.
The kids each had a gift card to Build-A-Bear so we also took them there one evening. Andrew stuffed a coyote and Emily a unicorn.
