November wraps up

A belated happy Thanksgiving. We have so many reasons to be thankful this year.

We enjoyed the week with Tory's parents visiting. We cooked the usual turkey with all the fixings and did a little black Friday shopping (although not the early morning variety). And otherwise spent a pretty relaxed weekend doing a few things around town. The kids were out of school all week, so it was really a little mini-vacation around here.We unpacked the Christmas decorations and strung the outside lights. I love seeing the tree lit up and decorated. We have decorations from almost every place we have visited, lots of ones passed down from both of our families and handmade ones from the kids and from great-grandparents. The kids are waiting excitedly to open door 1 on the advent calendars tomorrow and they have spied the presents left under the tree by Grandma and Papa. We even decorated a gingerbread house.
The week was a great send off for November!
On to December and then 2010.... time flies.
