Finally.... an update

Somehow I thought that after the hustle and bustle of December I would have much more time to update the blog (along with other things that have also been neglected). But somehow it is already February, and given that it is a short month, I better post something before it's March and I lose all motivation to update the past months' activities.

SPORTS:
Emily started a 3-year-old soccer class through the recreation center. She loves her pink soccer ball and having her own time to play soccer after three years of watching Andrew play. She looks forward to her Saturday class and time with Tory to play with her.

She is also taking gymnastics instead of dance this session. She likes it, but the sitting and waiting between stations is not so easy for a group of six three year old girls. She can do front and back somersaults and walk on the balance beam and is learning to flip over the bar.

Andrew is trying out flag football this season. He loves to run and that is about 75% of the sport for the 6-7 year-olds. There is some throwing, not much catching and lots of running (and lots of running the wrong way). He's had two games so far.

Andrew's school had spirit night at the Coyotes Hockey game. He got to greet the players in the "high-5 tunnel" and go down on the ice after the game and shoot the puck. He gets to do so many cool things.

And we ended the month of January with a Monster Truck Jam show.

The kids each wrote their names on a car during the pre-show "party in the pits". Then the car was smashed during the show by the monster trucks.

Tory and I each celebrated a birthday this month, we went to several friends' birthday parties, and as you can see we've been busy. We are very fortunate to get to do and see so many things and be involved in many activities in our community with the kids. No wonder I never have time to update the blog!

The other burning issue is the impending move... still no "official" information. It is still looking like we may go to England this summer. Hopefully we will know more later this month.
