We spent the 4th of July at Luke AFB. Its always a great place to watch fireworks and they have waterslides, balloons, face painting, giveaways and contests for the kids. The highlights
Both kids loved the water slides and Emily was a little daredevil going down the really tall water slides on her own.
Emily did the watermelon eating contest. Even though she didn't even finish one piece of watermelon it was a sight to see. There were people who consumed half a watermelon in two minutes.
The next day we met up with a bunch of friends at Chuck E Cheese. I am not sure who had more fun playing the games:
the parents:
or the kids...

Our final three nights we moved over to the Wigwam resort courtesy of the Air Force since base accommodations were full. Friends stopped by off and on all three days and it was a pretty relaxing couple of days. Tory finished his final out-processing and we assembled all of our luggage.

We have amazing friends in Arizona and saying goodbye to everyone has been rough on all of us. We are hoping for lots of visits from family and friends to England.
After all the visitors we got 8 suitcases packed up and ready to go, the dog crate labelled and assembled for Maggie, and the entourage of carry-on bags packed up for the morning.
