Emily is all about moving now. You put her down, turn around and she is gone -- usually heading for a pair of shoes to chew on. She can not quite pull herself up yet, but she does try to straighten her legs and stand up... she just can't figure out how to get her hands off the ground.
She is really enjoying her toys now. She will crawl through the little house and push the buttons on the musical table. We have a little gated play area upstairs so she can't get into Andrew's smaller toys and trains and she loves looking in the mirror and crawling around in there. Andrew calls it "baby jail" and likes to climb in with her.
She is getting so big. She is in her big-girl car seat now and the crib is lowered all the way down. Pretty soon we'll be out of the baby toys and on to the next thing. She can wave and once or twice has reached up to be picked up. Still no real words -- lots of babbling including mama and dada but I am not sure she really can attach meaning to it yet.
