Escaping the heat

We are heading to San Diego today for the week. Tory has a meeting the last half of the week so we are all going to escape the heat and relax for a few days. We'll take the kids to Sea World and the beach and then while Tory is at his meeting we'll maybe check out the zoo and other sites. I am sure the joys of being in a hotel room for a week with both kids will be blog-worthy when we return.

We've had some terrible dust and wind storms lately, so hopefully the backyard is still standing when we get home. Andrew started soccer this week and his first practice got canceled because the goals kept blowing over and you couldn't even see the end of the field.

Its still warm enough to swim and go to the splash park so we've been doing lots of that too.
