I met my roommate from college in Las Vegas this weekend. She lives in LA so we both drove and met there on Friday afternoon. We saw the Cirque du Soleil shows KA and and Mystere, gambled a little, sat by the pool, slept in, ate out, shopped and generally caught up. It was a nice get-away.
Tory held down the home front with the kids. The weekend ended slightly abruptly because Andrew got a stomach bug and I came home early on Monday morning to help out here. He is still not feeling well and has missed school so far this week and is generally not happy about being sick. To make it worse we are supposed to be having his birthday party tomorrow... it is on hold for now and we'll make a decision about it tomorrow morning.
