Fall fun

October, it seems, is always a really busy month and this year is no exception. We've done lots of fun things: Octoberfest celebration, birthday parties, pumpkin patch outing, visit from Tory's parents, halloween parties.... and its not even halloween yet! It seems like every weekend we have something going on and it basically continues that way until the end of the year. I definitely have issues with over-scheduling activities this year.

Some highlights:

Pumpkin patch - we go here every year. This year I thought it was too crowded and very commercialized but the kids still enjoyed it. Tory's parents were in town so we all went out there. It was over 90 degrees and we walked through the farm in shorts and flip flops. Not exactly fall weather around here right now.




Pumpkin carving - Melanie and Rick host a carving party every year. It was a great night to hang out with friends, let the kids run around, and it means we have a carved pumpkin every year. Our works of art:
