Christmas party with friends

Maria held her annual Christmas party and it was a great time with good food and friends as always. Santa made a surprise appearance for the kids and Andrew and Emily ended the day with a sleepover with Nico and Lucas (which was the highlight of the weekend for them both).

Until the weekend at the Polar Express, Emily was terrified of Santa. Every time we mentioned visiting Santa she would cry and say she was scared of him. She watched "The Polar Express" movie and we talked about it enough that she now happily climbs up on Santa's lap and recites her list of Christmas wishes.

Andrew's Christmas list for Santa was short - he wants a huge lego garage set. Emily wants a princess baby doll or Ariel baby doll and a Cinderella castle. Hopefully they realize that Santa is done taking requests at this point in the month.
