So Andrew had round one and two, Emily round two and three. Hopefully this will be us done with sickness for the year.
I have cabin fever. Between sickness-visitors-sickness I have barely left the house. My college roommate was here for a few days and we did make it to the zoo. I have not been to the gym in 3 weeks and I am turning into a slug. Andrew all weekend told me he was bored. We all need to get out and enjoy the fresh air. It has suddenly gone from spring to summer here. It was 95 degrees yesterday. The pool is over 80 and Andrew has been swimming and playing on the steps of the pool.
I am heading to Richmond next week to see my mom and my sister. She had a baby boy two weeks ago so I am excited to go and see little Christopher and big brother Ian (who is 7 weeks older than Emily).
Otherwise soccer, swimming lessons, playing outside, and the usual house and life stuff continues. We have had some fun playdates with friends. Andrew is really into superheroes and his friend Jacob has some great costumes that they run around in.
We know that Tory's replacement is supposed to be at his base the middle of May. She is actually a friend from his residency -- the military medical community is a very small place. He will transition things over to her and then hopefully head home and be back sometime around the last week of May. So, probably another 6 weeks and we are done.
