Aloha

Tory and I enjoyed a week in Hawaii while his parents watched the kids back in Phoenix. It was our first kid-free vacation since before having Emily. When we first moved to Arizona we said we wanted to go to Hawaii. With only a few months remaining here we decided we better get planning or it wasn't going to happen before we move. And with that our week-long adventure was planned and off we went.

We spent most of the week on Maui and loved it. Beachtiful beaches, sunrise and sunset watching, scuba diving, and relaxing at the hotel beach and pool. Then we went over to the big island of Hawaii for a couple of days of waterfalls, volcanoes, lava fields and more snorkelling. It was a perfect combination of activites.

The kids did great here with grandma and papa. I think they all enjoyed themselves.

Thank goodness for digital cameras because we took hundreds of photos on our trip. So many beautiful things to see. I am sure we will go back in a few years with the kids.

We saw the lava flow at night as it hits the water.
