Boxes, crates and trucks

Our first shipment of household goods is on its way to England. We had packers here for three days loading up everything going by boat to England. We still have a few piles at the house that will go by air in a few weeks, and we have a few rooms of furniture that will go into storage at the end of the month. We plan to stay in the house until we close on the sale in a few weeks.
The kids each have a box of toys, a suitcase and an inflatable bed. It helps that the TV and a sofa are going into storage and we kept out the wii and a few board and card games to play with. They are doing remarkably well given all the changes.
We had one packing "emergency." Emily's woo-woo (her favorite little animal blanket that she sleeps with) accidentally got packed up on the last day of the movers being here. At some point she took it out of the "do not pack" bin and left it somewhere. Before we realized it the last crate was sealed and loaded on the truck. Bye bye woo-woo for a few months.
Andrew has asked to ride his bike (packed), drive the hummer (packed), and play Battleship (packed). But he is happy to play with his friends and swim, so we have kept him distracted.
So far so good with the move.... Its actually amazingly relaxed here now that things are packed up.
