Home again

We just got back from a nearly 2-week visit to my mom and sister in Richmond, VA. My sister had her second little boy at the end of March so we went to see him and have a visit with family and break up the routine at home a bit.

Andrew is such a great traveler and really did well the whole time. Emily, lets just say, has some kinks to work out. But overall it went smoothly. No major delays; basically decent behavior on the flights and everyone slept well at my mom's house.

My mom was a big help with the kids, and they enjoyed running around and playing with different toys, watching the rain, playing in the yard and visiting with the cousins.
But no matter how fun the trip, its always nice to be home again. Maggie was happy to see us and I was glad to sleep in my own bed and the kids were happy to be back in their space too.
